At some point yesterday I hit 100,000 views on my website. My author website has been up about two and a half years, and it’s been steadily gaining views. I now average over 200 a day. A big thank you to everyone who visits and reads.

So in honor of this occasion, I’m going to give away some stuff to random commenters. I’ve had 239 comments over the years. I had random.org pick some numbers between 1 and 239. The lucky winners are:

Mik
Maysa
Jenny (youhavemyemail)

I’ll contact the winners via email. Up for grabs are any of my ebooks. If you’ve already got all of them–there aren’t that many yet–I’m willing to send you a paperback version once I get some made. That will be coming up in the next month or two. Otherwise, you can have seconds on an ebook or wait until I write something else for sale.

Merry Christmas…

if you’re so inclined. If not, Happy Solstice!

I’m sorry I missed posting Chapter 11 on Sunday, which had been my hope. However, I always find I slow down near the end of a story — not that I’m that close to the end. I always underestimate how long it’s going to take me to write a novel and I find I need “think time” to work out all the details. The same as with relationships for me: beginnings are easy, endings are hard.

It’ll be kind of embarrassing finishing a “Christmas” story in January (or, gulp!, February) but I don’t want to rush it. I’ll finish as soon as I can without compromising the story. I think I have 4 chapters left, including Chapter 11, but it might end up longer.

I’ll try to get 11 up by next weekend.

Meanwhile, have a lovely holiday. Eat, drink, and be merry — or whatever makes you happiest.
